No accounts. No servers. No analytics.

Nothing you play, record or import is sent anywhere.

What data is collected

None. The app requires no sign-up, does not identify you, and transmits no usage data, diagnostics, or information of any other kind.

Microphone and audio input

Starnight Keys asks for microphone permission only when you open the multisample recorder, and uses it to record the acoustic instrument you are sampling, through the iPad’s microphone or a connected audio interface.

That audio never leaves the device. It is stored in the app’s own folder, it belongs to you, and you can see it, copy it or delete it from the Files app.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth permission is used solely to connect wireless MIDI controllers, through the system’s own pairing panel. No device information and no location data is collected.

Your files

The instruments, presets and recordings you create are stored locally on your iPad. If you share them over AirDrop, Files or any other route, you start that action and the system handles it — the app does not.

Purchases

The in-app purchase is processed by Apple. Starnight Keys neither sees nor stores payment details: it only asks the system whether the purchase is active on your Apple ID. Apple’s handling of that data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and, since it collects no data, it collects no data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above is updated and the current version stays published at this same address.
